Patient Education
Gettysburg Cancer Center is committed to providing each patient and their family with education about their diagnosis. We want each patient to know what to expect and how their family or caregivers can be involved in their care. Our physicians and nurses work directly with each patient to educate and aid throughout their treatment. Gettysburg Cancer Center creates an individual relationship with each patient and their family to care for each patient's specialized needs. Gettysburg Cancer Center ensures that each patient fully understands their diagnosis and their treatment plans. Our physicians and staff work closely with other institutes to learn and educate patients on their diagnosis and care. We also provide supplemental educational materials such as booklets, pamphlets, videos and audio tapes that further explain cancer therapies. Check out the FAQ section for more information.
